Meet the Pastor

Pastor Dean is a native of the Fuquay – Varina area, where he grew up in the Duncan Church of God. Pastor Tim accepted the call to preach in 1992. He preached his first message from the pulpit of his home church in 1993.
He has been a credentialed minister with the Church of God (Cleveland, TN.) since 1996.
He also married the love of his life (Juanita) in 1996.
They began their journey of Pastoring with Pastor Tim serving as Lead Pastor at the Southeastern Church of God (Tabor City, NC) in 1998.
Pastor Dean & Juanita have served at various churches in the Church of God throughout Eastern, NC
God’s plan and Sovereign purpose brought them to the North Rocky Mount Church of God in January of 2025.
Pastor Dean has a vision for the Church and community in which he serves; he believes it is God’s will to “restore & rebuild.” We live in a broken world and Pastor Dean brings the unchanging message of Hope through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Pastor Dean also serves as the District Overseer of the Rocky Mount District. in which he works to promote support, unity and fellowship among the Churches.

Pastor Dean & Juanita have two sons – Nathan & Jacob, both of which are also in Ministry.
Nathan and his wife Hannah have blessed Pastor Dean and Juanita with two precious grandsons: Rowan & Elikai.
